🛑CONFIRMED: LEVEL 300s TO WRITE THEIR END OF FIRST SEMESTER EXAMINATION

Following the recent strike action taken by CETAG on the government's delay in paying their due allowances, there has been uncertainty as to whether or not the Level 300 student-teachers in Colleges of Education will write their End of First Semester Examination. 













The absence of tutors in the various lecture halls during lectures has the propensity to affect the academic calendar and consequently disrupt teaching and learning.




However, information gathered from our very reliable sources indicates that regardless of anything the Level 300s will write their END OF FIRST SEMESTER EXAMINATION beginning Monday, August 14,2023.









In light of this, every Level 300 student is expected to take his or her studies with all seriousness and prepare adequately.

UPDATE🔴: NLC ATTACKS CETAG ⚠️🔴

✍SIR_OJ  The National Labour Commission (NLC) has barred the Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) from participating in its meetings until they call off their ongoing strike. The Executive Secretary of the NLC, Ofosu Asamoah, stated that the Commission will not entertain any concerns raised by CETAG leadership as long as the strike continues. The NLC has also taken legal action to obtain a court injunction against the CETAG strike. The Director of Human Resource at the Commission, Dr. Bernice Welbeck, emphasized that they will not listen to CETAG's representatives until the strike is called off. The Chief Executive Officer of the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission, Ben Arthur, has urged CETAG's leadership to end the strike and engage in dialogue with the government.
