UPDATE🔴: NLC ATTACKS CETAG ⚠️🔴
✍SIR_OJ The National Labour Commission (NLC) has barred the Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) from participating in its meetings until they call off their ongoing strike. The Executive Secretary of the NLC, Ofosu Asamoah, stated that the Commission will not entertain any concerns raised by CETAG leadership as long as the strike continues. The NLC has also taken legal action to obtain a court injunction against the CETAG strike. The Director of Human Resource at the Commission, Dr. Bernice Welbeck, emphasized that they will not listen to CETAG's representatives until the strike is called off. The Chief Executive Officer of the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission, Ben Arthur, has urged CETAG's leadership to end the strike and engage in dialogue with the government.
